FAQ's - Booking related

Easily book online and receive your tickets by email – in only 4 steps! Simply:

1) Go to www.tipandtrips.es to search for the activity and/or location you want.

2) Once you find the activity you want to book, go to the booking box near to the top-right corner of the page. Refill all required informations.

3) You’re nearly there – choose “add to cart”. If you ready to buy just go to your shopping cart, review your booking information to ensure it’s correct then select “checkout”, follow the steps to finalize your booking.

4) Lastly enter your personal details and payment information. You can pay securely by credit card or Stripe.

After you submit your payment successfully, you’ll receive an confirmation that includes your voucher. However, if the activity organizer needs to confirm your booking, you’ll receive your voucher by email within 72 hours. Please print your voucher and bring it with you to the activity. This voucher, along with a valid photo ID, will be checked by the local tour supplier at the activity meeting point.

We understand plans can change. So if you need to change the date and time of your booking, contact us info@tipandtrips.com and we’ll do our best to update your booking.

 

Unfortunately due to security reasons, we cannot add people to your booking. We fully encrypt your payment details, so cannot take money from the account to add another person to your original booking.

 

However, you can easily add another person by making a separate booking for the exact same date and time.

 

Note: Please note that some venues/local suppliers cannot accept cancellations or date/time changes for a confirmed booking. If so we would inform you before booking.

For most bookings made on our website you will receive a confirmed voucher by email. If any activity, excursion or event on tipandtrips.es requires manual confirmation from the supplier, your booking will be confirmed within 24 – 72 hours.

 

You can expect up to 72 hours to pass before receiving a confirmation via email. Try looking in your email’s ‘Trash’ or ‘Junk’ folder. Sometimes confirmation emails can get misplaced by your email server and do not reach your inbox. If more than 72 hours have passed, or if you booked a tour with a short notice, send us an email to info@tipandtrips.com and we will get back to you. Please provide a phone number where you can be reached.

There is no need to print your ticket voucher. All local suppliers accept a display of your voucher on your mobile device.

 

A valid photo ID for the traveler named on the ticket is also required. Please note, some activities also require a valid ID for each participant, this will be stated on the ticket.

 

All the items/stuff you need for the activity can be found on the information page of the activity.

All of the bookings you make through us need to be made on our tipandtrips.com site. If you need help making a booking, you can always contact us info@tipandtrips.com. We’re happy to assist you.

Booking ahead of time allows you to pay securely online and guarantees you a spot on popular tours or activities.
Our website guides you through the easy booking process. And you can pay securely via Visa, MasterCard or Stripe.

Although we cannot take phone bookings due to security measures, we can assist you over the phone while you complete your booking online.

 

We do this to ensure your booking is secure and your sensitive information such as names, personal data and credit card numbers are safe.

FAQ's - Cancellations and Problems

We understand plans can change, more so now with the actual situation. You can easily cancel your activity for a full refund up to 48 hours before it starts unless otherwise stated.

 

However, if you do not show up for the activity or fail to cancel at least 48 hours in advance, you will not receive a refund.

 

Note that some of our local organizers have different cancellation policies, as shown on the tour or activity page of our site. In these cases, their cancellation conditions are valid rather than our Tip&Trips policy.

To cancel a booking, please contact us directly via email or phone so that we can assist you. Cancellation charges will be applicable as per the activity’s policy.

In the unlikely event that you have not received confirmation by the day of the activity, let us know so we can either get in touch with our local partner or cancel the booking and issue a refund.

 

If you have any doubt we recommend that you call the local partner 24-48 hours prior to reconfirm all activity details.

If you arrive at your activity start point and are unable to locate the supplier/tour guide or do not get picked up at the stipulated time, call the local partner directly using the number provided on your voucher (the supplier’s email address is also provided).

 

If you are unable to reach the local supplier, call us and we will assist.

FAQ's - Payments

When you make a booking, you can pay with a VISA debit or credit card, a MasterCard debit or credit card, Maestro, Visa Electron, Paypal or Stripe.

 

Tip&Trips is located in Spain and some banks may charge a transaction fee for international payments. Contact your card provider directly for further fee information.

Yes. With our secure online payment system, your payment information is encrypted and secured against fraud. We use industry-standard encryption protocols when transferring and receiving your personal information exchanged with our web pages. When you transfer personal information to us we require that a ‘secure session’ first be established using Secure Socket Layer (SSL).

 

Your personal information is stored in secure operating environments that are not accessible by the general public.

Credit cards can be declined for a number of reasons. Tip&Trips generally isn’t notified of the specific reason.

 

Common Issues:

Check that you’re entering your credit card number and billing address correctly, that your card has available funds, and that your card hasn’t expired.

 

Contact your bank or your car issuer:

If you’re getting an error when you try to pay, we recommend reaching out to your bank or credit card company for more information. Inform them of the amount and when tried to make the charge so they can let the transaction go through.

 

If your bank or card issuer isn’t able to help, you may want to try another payment method

No, Tip&Trips can’t split your booking cost across multiple payment methods. To make a booking, you’ll need to make your payment with a single payment method.
