Teide is the highest peak in Spain (3,718 metres) and one of the largest volcanoes in the world. Having the Canary Islands at your feet and being able to see them from there is something you will never forget. Climb to the top of Mount Teide and, depending on the brightness of the day and the clouds, you will be able to see Gran Canaria, La Palma, La Gomera and, if you are lucky, even El Hierro. On rare occasions you can see all seven islands. A special permit is required to climb the peak, which we will also arrange for you. It will take you five and a half hours to reach the summit, 1300 metres of positive height gain. To descend: you can go down by cable car or on foot, remember to bring a sandwich!
