What to do before or after Canyoning in Gran Canaria?
Mogán is a very touristic place where the different golden sandy beaches make you fall in love with the place in spite of the tourism. It is made up of six touristic urbanisations considered by many as the most beautiful in the Canary Islands: Arguineguín-Patalavaca, Anfi del Mar, Puerto Rico-Amadores, Tauro-Playa del Cura, Taurito and Puerto de Mogán. The coastline of the area is rocky, although the mouths of the ravines mean that there are different beaches in the urbanisations.
You can also visit the historic centre of Mogán and visit the church of San Antonio, built in 1814.
For lunch we recommend going to the port of Mogán to taste fresh fish such as bonito, aubergine fish or limpets with mojo. For dessert you can’t miss papaya with orange, custard apple or mangoes, all grown in the area.
