If you are a lover of nature and good wine, look no further. Anaga and its Laurisilva forest as a backdrop. If you’re lucky you’ll also see the trade winds blowing through the trees, making for an unbeatable view. Also present is the city of La Laguna, a World Heritage Site, a city full of life and history. Finally Tegueste and one of the best wines on the island.
Nature, wine and history of Tenerife is a perfect plan in the island!
What will we do on the tour?
We start the tour with a walk through the Laurisilva Forest of Anaga. There we will observe the richness of the place and we will take a walk through the history of Anaga and its traditions, while we will do an easy and short route where we will be able to see nature in its most intimate essence.
We continue to San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a World Heritage Site since 1999 and one of the most important cities of the Canary Islands. There we will take a guided tour and discover the architectural treasures of the city. We will also get to know some of the typical Canarian products.
Finally we will go to Tegueste, ten minutes from La Laguna, to taste part of the wine tradition of Tenerife. We will see the vineyards and smell the different varieties of wine and how they are produced. Finally, we will have a small wine tasting and sampling session.

“THE PERFECT DAY” by TIP AND TRIPS
At Tip and Trips we want you to enjoy Tenerife, its gastronomy, its culture, but also all the possibilities that every corner of the island has to offer. That’s why we suggest you “The perfect day”, depending on the timetable you choose for this activity. And if you have any questions, write to us!
Where to eat?
After a fun morning of hiking you will surely feel like having lunch and stopping for a rest. We suggest two options: stay in Tegueste and go to a typical Canarian restaurant, La Terraza de Tegueste. Another good option is to go to Punta del Hidalgo, 15 minutes away by car, on the north coast of Tenerife. There we recommend you go to eat at La Cofradía de pescadores, where many locals go to eat fish at a very good price and right on the coast with views of the sea.
Punta de Hidalgo can be reached in fifteen minutes by car. There you can swim in its natural pools or in the small pools overlooking the sea. As well as enjoying a delicious meal or a drink, you can take a walk to the hermitage at the end of the village and enjoy the views. And watching the sunset there is a real spectacle.
