You can first go in search of whales and dolphins and then go for a swim in one of the coves, for example. If you are more of a snorkeller, our captain will take you to see the seabed. The “Mojo Picón” offers all the advantages of a sailing boat. You will be able to enjoy one of the most beautiful coasts of Tenerife. There you can go in search of the most diverse marine species such as turtles, dolphins or whales.

In addition, if the sea conditions are good, the little ones can help with tasks such as steering the boat and become sailors for a few hours.

You can enjoy the yacht for 4 hours, any extra hour you may want has an additional cost of 150€.

What can they do on board the ship?

“El Mojo Picón” sets sail from Los Gigantes in search of the different marine species to see them in their natural habitat. Along the route there is time for all kinds of marine activities. Snorkelling in some of the coves next to the cliffs, diving in the crystal clear waters of the south of Tenerife and sunbathing on a wonderful deck. All accompanied by an idyllic atmosphere.

At private yacht in Tenerife you can also enjoy a delicious snack, fruit and drinks in one of the quiet coves on the edge of Los Gigantes. For the more adventurous If there is wind, you can go a little further out to sea to experience the experience under full yacht. The skipper is always ready to cater to the tastes of the guests.

Characteristics of the sailing boat – “Mojo Picón”

The Mojo Picón is a 14-metre Bavaria sailing boat. A luxury private yacht with all the comfort and the most modern technology in safety and navigation systems. The maximum capacity is 10 people.

The captain?

Meet our magnificent skipper, a real sea dog, with a lot of experience in sailing trips. He has always been in contact with the nautical world. He is a specialist in getting the most out of your trip. Moreover, thanks to the captain’s long experience, if the sea conditions are good, the little ones will be able to help with tasks such as handling the helm and become sailors for a few hours. They will also be able to enjoy all the captain’s knowledge and, if they wish, learn how to yacht a large sailing boat.

Where does the activity take place? Los Gigantes

The cliff of Los Gigantes is one of the jewels of Tenerife. It is located in the extreme west of the island with an imposing vertical wall almost 600 metres high. The immense volcanic walls are located within the Teno Rural Park, between the municipalities of Buenavista del Norte and Santiago del Teide. It is the perfect place for whale watching, scuba diving or a boat trip to enjoy the wonderful nature.

Where is the yacht?

The boat is located in the marina of Los Gigantes. It takes half an hour by car from Adeje.

What to bring on board?

At Private Yacht in Tenerife you bring swimming costume, sun cream, towel, sunglasses and cap. We also recommend that if you decide to go and watch the incredible sunset on the sailing boat you bring warm clothes because the sea can always give us a bit of a cold breeze.

What to do after the activity?

After the whale and dolphin watching on a sailing boat in Los Gigantes you can do a few things. In La Caleta you can go for a swim in the sea or discover the seabed by snorkelling. You can also go to see the cliffs of Los Gigantes and have a “barraquito“, a typical Canarian coffee at the viewpoint. If you prefer to continue discovering the island, we recommend a visit to the village of Guía de Isora or Santiago del Teide. Finally, watching the sunset at the Roca Negra Sunset Club is a spectacle while sipping a cocktail and enjoying special views of La Gomera.
