Why Kayaking and snorkelling in Papagayo Beach?
The crystal clear waters of the different beaches of Papagayo offer an idyllic setting for this sport. The blue waters are reminiscent of the Caribbean. In addition, as a backdrop we have the islet of Lobos and Fuerteventura. Being in the south of the island, the climate is ideal all year round. During the tour we can also see the Ajaches Cliffs, declared a Natural Site of National Interest in 1987. Thanks to the fusion of sea and lava it creates a spectacle worth seeing from our kayak. Papagayo Beach are one of the beast place to do kayak in Canary Islands.
What are we going to do during these three hours to sea kayaking lanzarote?
First we will prepare all the material and we will have an explanatory class on how to handle the kayak, different safety rules and what we will see during our trip. From Las Coloradas beach we will see different corners, cliffs and caves, all made by the lava of the volcanoes during centuries. We will also have the opportunity to visit different virgin beaches that are located in this area of the island. To finish the first part of our excursion we will arrive at the Papagayo Beach. There we can swim, have a picnic and snorkeling in Lanzarote.
Once we have recharged our body with energy we will continue to the incredible cliffs of this activity, Los Ajaches. During the trip we will explain the different eruptions, the conquest of the Canary Islands or pirate attacks among many other stories. In addition to seeing the great value of our Biosphere Reserve.
